Day 1: Arrived
at Kigali Air Port and drive to hotel in Kigali for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive
to Hotel in Ruhengeri or Kiningi village at the outskirt of the park National
Des Volcano for an overnight stay.
Day 3:
The day of Gorilla tracking.
Early in the morning drive to Kinigi park offices. You will have a briefing
form park guides before you’re allowed to the park. Tracking can
take you between 3-8 hours depending on the day’s location of Gorillas.
You are expected back 7:00pm latest though you can be back 11:00am. Back
to hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: After breakfast drive to Cyangungu arriving at lunch time. After lunch visit either tea or cotton processing plants in the town back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Early in the morning after breakfast drive to Nyungwe forest for Chimpanzee tracking. This shall be a full day walk, after drive to hotel in Butare for Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Drive from Butare to Kigali for an evening flight.
