Day 1:
NAIROBI LAKE MANYARA
Arrive Namanga border town at 1000hrs after immigration formalities drive
to Arusha for lunch. Afternoon game viewing at Lake Manyara National Park,
famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingoes. The
park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of scenic beauty.
Dinner and over night at Lake Manyara Hotel or campsite at Mto-wa-mbu
sited on top of the rift valley with spectacular views over the lake or
at your campsite / lodge.
Day 2: LAKE
MANYARA – NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast taking a picnic lunch with you descend 2000ft (670m) into
the crater floor with break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site.
The main crate is 165km and contains constant animals population of varied
species. Black manned lions Rhinos Buffaloes, Elephants and other grazing
animals have made this crater a permanent home return early evening to
Ngorongoro wild life lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
NGORONGORO SERENGETI
07:30 hrs leave Ngorongoro after breakfast for olduvaigorge lunch at George
Museum. After lunch visit various sites of the George to see where the
remains of prehistoric man were discovered by Dr. L.S.B leakey visit an
old Maasai home on the way proceed to Serengeti plains past Seronera and
on to Lobo with afternoon game viewing Dinner and overnight at Labo wildlife
Lodge or campsite.
Day 4:
SERENGETI
Leave Labo for Ndutu with game viewing in Serengeti and around Ndutu wood
lands to locate leopards and numerous plains game as well as Cheetahs,
common species here overnight at Ndutu Safari lodge or campsite.
Day 5:
SERENGETI - NAIROBI
After breakfast with brief game viewing on your way out of Serengeti drive
to Arusha via Mtowambu village for shopping of Makonde carvings and other
souvenirs lunch at an Arusha Hotel. Drive to Nairobi via Namanga border
town arriving early evening.
